Dr. Haig is well known for his work in rehabilitation. Author of over 100 scientific publications, and recognized with awards including best doctor, best researcher, and best teacher in the field, Dr. Haig’s experience ranges from teaching corporate leadership, to consulting for foreign governments, to leadership positions in numerous international consortiums. |
Meeta D. Peer M.D. Vice President Meeta D. Peer M.D. has served as a Director of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Temple University Hospital for 25 years and is Medical Director of the Department of Rehabilitation at Elkins Crest (SNF) in Philadelphia. Dr. Peer also serves as the Director of the PMR Department at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in the City of Pune, India, which she established in 2001.

Devendra Peer, CPA Treasurer Devendra is a Philadelphia accountant and spouse of Meeta Peer, an academic Physiatrist. Dr. and Mr. Peer built a medical rehabilitation unit in Pune, India. Soon Devendra became a respected fixture at international medical rehabilitation meetings—providing strategies, raising questions, and promoting the rest of us who care for people with disabilities.

Tom HaigCommunications Director Tom's spent seven years traveling the world as a professional stunt diver before settling in to a career in sports marketing. A bicycling accident in 1996 left him a t-12 paraplegic, but it hasn't slowed him. He has completed 12 marathons, observed disabled conditions on four continents and recently earned a B.A.in broadcast jounalism from the Edward R. Murrow School of Communication. |
Sierra brings ten years of non-profit experience and international development expertise to the organization. Ms. Loar is passionate about poverty alleviation and she has experience in program design in the States, Africa, and Asia. Most recently she worked for the Mongolian government as a capacity development expert and child rights advocate.
